At T for Tutors we offer tuition for children and adults doing KS2, KS3 and KS4, no matter what level they are currently working at. We cover the same subject content that is on the National Curriculum, ensuring all topics are covered for the exams. Homework will be set for every student, and help with school homework will also be given. We currently offer tuition in the following subjects:​

  • Maths

  • Chemisty

  • Physics

  • French

At T for Tutors we also like to use a range of different teaching techniques, and adapt the learning to suit each students individual needs. At T for Tutors you will receive a much more personal tutoring service - no two students are the same. Below you can find a brief description of what happens at T for Tutors.

FREE initial assessment

Usually about 25 questions and takes around 30 minutes to complete. It is a great tool for the tutor to gauge the level that you are working at.

Initial discussion

Here the tutor sits down with you (and your parent if applicable) to determine your strengths and weaknesses, based on your initial assessment as well as your school/college work.

Learning plan

Now the tutor can put together a personalised learning plan for you. Each session you will complete work that the tutor sets for you, and record your progress. 

Homework

The tutor will set homework weekly for you, and can also help them with any homework set by school/college.

Feedback

You will have a personalised feedback form to keep a record of the work you are doing. At the end of each month there is a section for you, the tutor and your parent if applicable to complete - this is to monitor your progress and also to address and concerns that may have arisen.
